What distinguishes 18-karat gold cover from solid gold?
Pure karat gold and 18-karat gold have different color tones. Different pieces age differently and require different maintenance. How should I maintain my Atman jewelry?
We suggest not wearing your Atman jewelry when you are sleeping, exercising, or in the water to keep the gold cover pieces as bright as possible. Please take careful to keep oils, lotions, and fragrances away from your skin. When not in use, clean your jewelry with a gentle cloth before storing it, and store it in a cool, dry location. Maintain separation between the parts to prevent rubbing.
Can solid gold jewelry be produced for me?
With a 21-working-day lead time, several of our items may be created in solid 9- or 18-karat gold upon request. If you'd like, 24-karat gold can also be applied as a plating on solid gold objects. We are unable to accept a return of custom-made jewelry once it has been manufactured. Please email atmanboheme@gmail.com for a complete quote or further details.
Lost wax casting: what is it?
Each piece of Atman jewelry is first hand-carved in wax by Lital as she embarks on an emotional journey through the fantastical worlds that link her and the company to nature and life symbols. When the wax piece is finished, it is cast in plaster to create a mould, which is then removed, leaving the ideal area for recycled silver or recycled gold to be poured in. As the silver or gold cools, it solidifies into the final shape of the piece. Each component is cleaned and plated once it has been removed from the mold, and then it is lovingly hand polished.
Recycled metal is what?
Because of the great value that the material naturally possesses, recycling precious metals is a common process in the jewelry business. Gold, silver, and platinum are valuable metals that have been recovered from used metals. To reuse the precious metal in new designs, it must first be removed from any other metals it may have come into contact with. Both the gold in our solid gold and beautiful jewelry from Atman Jewellry and the sterling silver we use are 100 percent recycled.
Are the containers you employ recyclable?
Our jewelry pouch is produced completely of vegetable waste, and our external cardboard envelope and postcards are now recycled widely. Some curbside providers may accept our white cardboard boxes for recycling; they are protected with a thin plastic layer. Consult your local government to be certain.
